Photography is nothing new to me. I began taking pictures at an early age with a Hawkeye Instamatic my Mother gave me one Christmas. -Who remembers those? My love of photography became one of my minors in college.
Always with camera in hand, my photos capture places past, present- maybe, an eye to the future. Most trigger pleasant memories of simpler times although some may elicit darker views on life. They are moments from my global adventures across the U.S, the Caribbean Islands, South America, Mexico, and Europe. Come dream, feel, imagine awhile....
Images may be clicked on for larger viewing. The photos are available as blank cards, matted images, and framed works. All have been digitally printed with archival inks and papers on my wide format Epson printer.
Matted Images are offered in standard sizes:
3.5 x 5, 5 x 7, 8 x 10, 11x14. A variety of colors and textured mats are offered alongside the standard ivory and white archival mats and presented in a clear sleeve.
Framed Images are offered in wood or metal frames to fit any decor.
The images featured in this group were taken at the Outer Banks, North Carolina.
I was able to "capture" the wild horses who reside in the extreme 4WD area of the OBX. A colt had just been born a week earlier- what a special sighting that was! The new Mom sauntered quite close to me with her new bundle, the stallion was precariously close- he knew I was not a threat- that is him "Heading Home". If you visit, please do not approach them. Leave them to roam free as they have since the Spanish galleons visited these shores.
A wonderful gift for any life event...You will find images paired with my original thoughts in cards and matted print formats- . Custom works are available. I can apply a thought or message to any image for any occasion.
Please stop back often- I am in the process of updating my photo pages. If you are searching for something in particular, please ask- I have thousands of images in my archives!

Michael Pernotto, Canfield, Ohio, has been shooting film as a hobby and professionally for many years. These images capture the old, classic streets of downtown Vegas. Absent from these shots is the overhead canopy displaying the Freemont Lightshow that has overshadowed these views today. Although he took them with a 35mm, he has digitally enhanced these images to further the mood of the classic shots.
Black metal 8x10 and 11x14 frames. Larger sizes are available on request.

Lighted Art ....
Beautiful creative works from Margaux Jones, LightMiner~ Edmonds, Washington. By day her 3-dimensional pieces are perfect accents. By night they are glowing beauties.
Margaux was featured on HGTV~ what a wonderful, creative soul! Her works combine technology and imagination for functionalworks of art that light. Images are captured with her "secret process" in a lexan material for a translucent result.
